Video - Are you struggling to update your Microsoft office 365 Outlook desktop password? Stick around, as we'll guide you through two simple methods to get it done in no time!

Method 1: Changing Password via Server Settings 

First, open Outlook and click on the File menu. From there, select Account Settings. A drop-down menu will appear; choose Server Settings. In the new pop-up window, you will find the option to update your password. Make sure to select the ‘Remember Password’ checkbox before clicking Next to complete the update process.

Method 2: Changing Password via Manage Profile Settings

For the second method, again start by opening Outlook and clicking on the File menu. This time, select Manage Profile Settings from the drop-down menu. In the subsequent pop-up, click on the e-mail Accounts tab. Select the account you wish to update and enter the new password in the Logon Information tab. Click Next and follow the remaining prompts to save and exit.

Important note on password changes

Direct password changes from Outlook are not supported. You will need to use the webmail interface to initially change your password, followed by these steps to update it within Outlook.
